Coaching Philosophy

Coaching Philosophy

Here at Neston Nomads FC we coach players of all ages and abilities, we provide a safe and friendly environment to help them to learn, to grow and to achieve their maximum potential while most importantly having fun.

Our club is  inspired and guided by the FA's England DNA and we deliver age-appropriate coaching to support long- term player development. As a club we provide structure within our coaching in 3 main age phases: Foundation (5 to 11 years), Youth Development (12 to 16 years) and Adult or Professional Development (17+).

Neston Nomads FC puts the child and their needs at the centre of all activity; we encourage all players to try their best and make the most of their abilities and we offer a challenging but supportive environment where children can learn from their mistakes without undue  pressure and anxiety and to be free to play during matches, with positive encouragement from parents and coaches. We believe that this environment is optimum for our players to progress, not only individually, but also as a team.

Neston Nomads' coaching philosophy promotes good behaviour and respect for others inside and outside playing fields. This respect and good behaviour allows the children to progress not only as footballers, but as individuals

At Neston Nomads we aim to provide Information from the touchline in the form of occasional questions and encouragement from the coaching staff, and patrolling the touchline giving continuous shouted instructions must not happen.

All coaches at our club must apply for a FA CRB Enhanced Disclosure and are required to strictly follow the Respect Code of Conduct.
